The things I do right now

Meet my cluttered workspace, Scrivener is up (the manuscript program to work on, seriously makes my life so much easier) and favorite mug filled with coffee and oat-milk. Not goats milk. Oats. And yes I’m getting there, writing wise, but also I finally decided on how to incorporate the illustrations and which technique I should go for (ink, watercolor and digital). I’m pleased so far.

Here’s some design elements. Sorry for the blurry image, my new Huawei phone which seems to be broken from day one is not great with either texting nor photos. I’m thinking of switching back to my stone age iPhone 4S. The bigger illustrations are freshly scanned but I’ll show you more later, I want to play around with them a bit more and place them nicely on the pages. I’m using In Design a lot, but is there some other program you enjoy when working with text and images? I’ve only tried Id.
