Shop News

I finally got a new place where you can find my designs and buy them.

I wasn’t sure where to go and used to be a bit here and there but the internet changes and we adapt. You can head over and look at my Tea Tricks shirt on the new shop platform called Rage On. The designs are also available on canvas and some home decor, it’s not just clothes. I do love the big comfy sweatshirts though, they are my go-to outfit (sweather + yogapants + glasses= cat lady sans cat look).

I used the designs from my “I can’t even…” coloringbook available on Amazon for a lot of the designs. It feels nice to see them on shirts, never thought my sketchbook girls could be so useful haha

It’s nearly Spring now in Sweden and I’ve spent the larger part of Winter being sick in various colds so I need my time, I’m so behind my work schedule it’s not even funny. With that update: my manuscript calls. See you around darlings!

Viral Ink

So flu season isn’t quite over yet it seems. These new ink works are probably part ink and part virus, not quite my idea of going viral. I can’t wait to get better, there are many exciting things awaiting just around the corner. For now please enjoy my “Copycat” and “Fly Queen”.

I’ll tell you more later.

I can’t even….

Hey! Look who’s back! Time has been brutal, well so was my health. I had a problem with my drawing arm holding me back for weeks but now I’m back and healed! I did get something done in my absence, and that is finally getting my coloringbook published. It’s available on and Barnes & Noble to name a few. I already ordered a few samples so I can try the quality of the paper, will upload a proper Vlog once my books arrive, guessing end of Jan.

My new sheets of Arches paper arrived as well, so there will be a couple of more updates shortly. Wishing you a lovely January, for my fellow winter hemisphere friends – hang in there. Sun is crawling back on the sky, slowly but surely.

Going bigger

I’ve spent recent week drooling over Arches papers. I know my go-to paper has been Fabriano but it seems Arches might actually kick my Fabriano to the curb. The durability and sizes available is what I dream of. I’ve been working on A3 and A2 for some time and it’s just too small. I need bigger sheets, or even rolls, in order to proceed where I want to go. My world is expanding, my art must follow. For now it’s like the art I’ve done recently are character studies for this new world that awaits.

I’m not sure how and when I can get a hold of these papers, hopefully this year so I can work soon, but it’s also a matter of the wallet. Being missing in the artworld since, well 2012 or 2013 I should say (did one solo show in 2012 but that feels so distant now) and focusing on taking care of my two girls has been very good for me. Now that they are bigger I can come back like a volcano. I feel like a volcano. It’s amazing and not as scary as I thought haha

So. 2017. You will be the year I erupt all over the papers. Haha

November was the flu-month, yet I managed to do some studies. I really should get back to filming while I paint too, and upload to YouTube. I’m so flattered and honored my earlier work still receive such attention and feedback. I would love to spoil you with more recent work and techniques.

Here’s an old YouTube-video, until I film a new one. Take care this holidays. Happy holidays.

New traditional art

I decided to take some time to rework my ink paintings, creating 100% traditional art now that I have more time on my hands (YES, FINALLY!). That doesn’t mean I’ll shy away from digital work, but the stuff I do with ink will be traditional.

Comics and doodles and everything else that falls into a grey area might be under the digital influence 🙂

Anyway, here you go, the latest sparkling art dated November 2016

Peak progress of new art

Currently working on new art. I call this piece “The weight I carry stands on my shoulders” and is a comment on Black Lives Matter. People have already written so eloquently about this important struggle of common sense acceptance I have nothing to add to it. Only that of course everybody no matter color of skin or where you were born matter. And of course the legal system should stand above and beyond racism.

It’s also a comment on the hysteria of looks in general, especially regarding women who not only have to fight for equal pay still of this day, but also has that silent demand we must look pleasant and be lovable in all times. We even have shows on tv depicting women dressed in one-pieces being ridiculed by the “good” stylists although she explains she’s taking care of her child who has a disability, as well as handling a divorce and a low paid job. But no. She must LOOK AFTER HERSELF (read: look pretty). As if looking scruffy would be a bad thing. Well tell you what? If life throws you shit in your fan and you get splattered for a couple of years there’s nothing wrong looking like you don’t give a fuck because your priorities are already right. You’re doing it. One day at a time. Sometimes one hour at a time. And if that one-piece is making you feel comfortable while doing it IT’S ALRIGHT! The weight problem is not on your ass or your tummy lady, it’s on your shoulders. I hear you sister. Power to you.

Freshly baked new inklings

I have finally figured out how to make my art 100% traditional with my own ink style that I usually tweak digitally, but for this batch I was short out of time and so I did the colorful extra bits digitally. I noticed a bit late there was an ello and hi fructose collab going on and you could submit three pieces, so wanting to take part in the fun I had to hurry a bit. The one with the ello faces is my personal favourite. I’m still second guessing myself for making the pinkish red protection galder sign under the Phoenix woman with red glasses but I like the 80’s vibe I’m getting so… Keeping it for now.
